ScriptMind is a concept. When I have software I like to use, I like to keep using it.
This is fine as long as the software is maintained, but when it gets orphanned it becomes difficult to get updates and keep it running. If it's commercial software, once abandonned, users are out of luck. When it's open source software the original author deciding to abandon it doesn't stop you using it.
I've decided to resurrect some of my favourite open source software through a process called "forking". Obtaining the source is easy. Finding hosting is easy. The hard bit is finding a new name to avoid confusion with the original version. I've decided to name my versions ScriptMind::Xyz where Xyz is a generic description. Please note, there's no intention to hide the source of the software & full credit will be given. The renaming is purely to avoid confusion.
First up ScriptMind::Links a fork of gplLD which, in turn, was a fork of an early version of PHP Link Directory.
